Abstract

Systematic calculations of potentials for muons and protons in various simple metals have been recently performed using local pseudopotentials in first-order perturbation theory. In the present contribution some results which are of particular interest for μSR are discussed. The modification of the energy profiles with lattice relaxation is studied in Cu and Cs.
