Abstract
Formed in 2015, the American Trombone Quartet was formed to expedite the creation of new, innovative repertoire for this medium. All the gentlemen in the quartet are well-respected University Professors who have active, diverse performing careers. This CD Review features the works of three American Composers: Mark Rheaume, Paul Johnston, and John Cheetham, as well as Dutch Composer Jan Koetsier. The Performances of all these American Works are World Premier Recordings.
