Abstract

Techniques for more efficient evaluation of atmospheric transport and dispersion problems are discussed. Numerical approximation of integrated chemical submodels of photochemical air pollution models is emphasized. The approximation can be more easily applied to sensitivity analysis and the development of an optimal pollution control strategy than existing detailed chemical submodels.
