Abstract
Korean-born artist, Sang-Mi Yoo is currently an Associate Professor of Art at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas. Her print media and installations obscure the distinction between perception and reality, the past and the present, revealing the contradictions of our fixed way of seeing everyday life and values. Yoo received her MFA in printmaking from The Ohio State University and BFA in Painting from Seoul National University.
