N2 - From Landmark Arts- "Artists and educators, Cody Arnall and Lindsey Maestri, deem themselves as "great collaborators" as a married couple and as individual artists working in collectives. However, they have kept their own art practice somewhat separated from each other, never sharing a studio space together. Their exhibition, "Are You Listening to Me?," highlights the ways in which their art, clearly influenced by each other yet created separately, will share a single space and audience. In this way, their exhibition explores the relationships between artists, partners, audiences and artworks."
We secured this show via submitting an application to the SoA's gallery committee. Opening night was part of Lubbock's well attended May, First Friday Art Trail.
-I had Four sculptural works included in this exhibition, one of them new, made in 2017.
