Abstract
An organizational behavior approach for managing change in information systems is discussed. The creation of flexible, object-based, distributed systems by taking higher-level view of the design process is also presented. It is suggested that the software organizations can adapt to increased rates of change by applying organization theory and flattening and empowering the object employees.
