N2 - The spinal injuries can he considered as the most prevalent injuries among the crew and passengers of modern civil transport accident. The functional spinal unit (FSU) of cervical spine column (C5-C6) was created to investigate the age-related spine injuries. Based on the Young's modulus decrease of disc annulus and cortical shell, the injury mechanics of disc degeneration and osteoporosis were investigated. Probabilistic injury analysis was also applied for probability of injury in different Young's modulus levels.
