Abstract

This paper is an exploratory research effort to develop a project management balanced scorecard for multiple projects. Performance measures will be identified that can be used by managers to simultaneously monitor multiple projects for an organization. Traditional measures will be evaluated, along with new measurements used in today's ever changing project management environment. A project management scorecard will be developed to track the performance of multiple projects, and assess trade-offs associated with complex projects. Kaplan and Norton's traditional balanced scorecard methodology will serve as the framework for the project management scorecard.
