N2 - On January 6, 2020, the Texas Tech Percussion Ensemble 1 and Steel Band 1 were invited to present/perform the opening concert on May 17, 2020 at the 2020 National Conference on Percussion Pedagogy held at Texas Tech University in Lubbock, Texas on May 17-19, 2020; however, due to COVID-19, the conference and concert were both postponed until May 23-25, 2021. The concert is to be held on May 23, 2021.
