Abstract
On February 15th 2012, Carolyn McEnrue, news anchor of CBS affiliate KLST TV San Angelo, did a feature story on the San Angelo show Burnished, Brushed, and Bejeweled. Texas Tech’s Jewelry Design and Metalsmithing department’s students and faculty were included in this exhibition. This story aired at 10:15p.m., and featured works of Rebecca Beals, Carrie Skinner, John Richard-Thomas, and Kris Leinen. Each of the four students’ works had approximately half a minute of airtime as the news anchor talked about the importance of the exhibition.
